Our founder and lead program consultant, D’Andre Wilson-Ihejirika, is originally from Nassau, Bahamas. She moved to Canada in 2006 to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University. After completing her degree, she then went on to receive a Master’s of Applied Science from the Centre for Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship at the University of Toronto. D’Andre’s career has spanned the financial, research, non-profit and energy sectors. She calls on all of this experience as she develops curricula for organizations that truly want to make a difference in the lives of young people.
In 2011, D’Andre was chosen as one of the Centre for Social Innovation’s Agents of Change.
In 2013, D’Andre was featured as one of Next 10 Influential People in Alberta Venture Magazine.
