Operation SMART is the inaugural program of BrainSTEM Alliance, developed for Girls Inc. of Northern Alberta. This program exposes girls aged 10 to 14 to science and engineering concepts, introducing them to a different engineering discipline each week for 8 weeks. The engineering activities for this program are all taught by volunteer female engineers who act as mentors to the girls in the program.
