President and Managing Director

Our founder and managing director, D’Andre Wilson-Ihejirika, is originally from Nassau, Bahamas. She moved to Canada in 2006 to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering from McGill University, then went on to receive a Master’s of Applied Science from the Centre for Management of Technology and Entrepreneurship at the University of Toronto.

D’Andre’s career has spanned the financial, research, non-profit, education and energy sectors. She calls on all of this experience as she develops curricula for organizations that truly want to make a difference in the lives of young people. 

D’Andre has received numerous awards for her social entrepreneurship including 2011 Centre for Social Innovation’s Agents of Change, 2013 Next 10 Influential People in Alberta Venture Magazine, 2017 YMM Magazine Top 50 Under 50 and 2019 SunCares Changemaker.
